Is Derby Day! This year is the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby.
Kentucky Derby Saturday is such an exciting day in sports! For as long as I can remember, I'm always glued to the television watching all of the coverage and stitching! It's a tradition, and y'all know how much I love a tradition.
I knew I wanted to design a needlepoint canvas to honor the longest continually held sporting event in America and it's traditions. I'm always mesmerized by the exquisite garland of red roses that adorns the winner in the Winner's Circle - so abundance of red roses it is!
